If you’re feeling the pressure of volunteering in your school or community, maybe this is the season you take a break.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s wonderful to help out wherever there’s a need and serving others can fill your heart! If it’s causing stress, anxiety, or you’re having trouble with time management of your other priorities, it may be time to step away from volunteering temporarily.
If the thought of that feels stressful, listen to this week’s episode that’ll help navigate those tricky waters. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be everything to everyone if it means you’re overextended. It’s important to focus on your needs too.
Highlights from this episode:
(04:11) There’s been something on my mind…
(07:42) It’s ok to let yourself off the hook
(12:46) The Real Housewives of the PTA
(16:14) Don’t be a one-woman show
(19:23) It’s not about perfection, but recovery
